The General Secretary is chief administrative officer of the Central Office and principally in-charge of its operation. He has supervision over its personnel and directs the planning, organizing and implementation of the programs of the Church.

The General Secretary is the secretary of the General Assembly and the Executive Commission, and has a term of office of six years.

The current General Secretary is the Right Reverend Joselito T. Cruz. He was elected at the 12th General Assembly of the Church held at Manila in May 2011.
